Laeger's Racing brings Freddie Sheppard onboard from Bling Star

 

 

 

 

Murrieta, California (9/30/2008) - Laeger's Racing, the number one company for high quality suspension products, has just announced a new person to lead the company to new heights - Freddie Sheppard. Freddie is one of the founding visionary's who brought the ATV community Bling Star Industries. He has joined Laeger's Racing to bring you - the customer - the promise of bringing high quality, 100% American Made products!

We decided to take a take a trip to Laeger's facility to speak with Freddie and see where Laeger builds their high quality products! The shop was buzzing with a-arms, swing arms and steering stems being built. As they say, this product is made right here in the good ol' USA! We like that because you know you are getting a high quality product! The shop atmosphere is great. Tons of ATV's around the shop, the music was blasting, people laughing and the phones were ringing off the hook. The shop features a lot of cool art work on the walls - much like what you would see at West Coast Customs shops.

About Laeger's Racing
Laeger's Racing was founded in 1983 by Mark and Susie Laeger. In a small shop behind his house, Mark began making three wheeler conversion kits, extended swingarms, a-arms and eventually progressed into chassis design. In the early 90's, Laeger's dominated the Mickey Thompson series as the majority of the top ten riders were winning with their product. While heavily active in the Nationals and GNCC series, Mark quickly grew from a one man show to a full fledged manufacturing facility and relocated to Temecula, California in 1999. In 2004, Mark and Susie decided to semi-retire and sell the business to Jason Touhy and Scott Taylor. Prior to owning Laeger's, Jason was an engineer working in the Bio-Tech and Manufacturing industry. Scott worked as a software consultant. Tired of the 'daily grind', both decided to take the plunge and purchase the business. Today, Mark and Susie still work at Laeger's part-time and if you call in on the right day, you will be greeted by Susie on the phone. Mark plays a key role in new product development and implementation and numerous 'special' products.

Over the years, Laeger's has had the opportunity to work with several top riders such as Gary Denton, Barry Hawk, Tim Farr, Doug Gust, Dough Eichner, Kory Ellis, Pat Brown, Chris Borich and multiple international champtions. Laeger's has used their years of experience to develop and quality product that will meet the demands of today's ATV rider; whether it be on the track, in the desert, through the woods, or in the dunes - we've got it covered!
