How tight do you tighten the ring bolts?

I normally just tighten them with a 3/8" drive socket wrench until they are good and snug, but I never used a torque wrench. Don't just tighten one side then the other, you should criss cross your tightening and do it several times to gradually pull the ring down without tightening all the way down at once.
