I was messing around riding yesterday and slammed my back breaks on in reverse going a pretty good speed.. well my quad flipped back on me and luckily i jumped back fast enough before it hit me.. But now my handlebars are bent :cry The Z looks cool upside down in the dark though

ive done it before but never flipped over. i like doin stoppies forwards and backwards. theyre scary at first but once u get used to them its all good.

Yeah when I first did it I didn't do it on purpose. I was just trying to get out of reverse quick and go but jammed on the breaks a little too hard.

i gotta try this :schweet:
AbsoLut
Try it, I bet you won't regret it :evilgrin Just don't go to fast and make sure you sit far back on the seat and pull on the handlebars..

its really fun if u do it right. but if u screw up make sure u get it on camera. mhihi.gif

Funny you mention this.

It didn't happen by stopping quickly by going backwards. Well when you think about it it did.

I had just purchased my Z and was unloading it off my truck.

Anyway I put the ramp down not noticing that I had put the bottom of the ramp on a small concrete slab I had in the ground to use for the kickstand for my 2003 Goldwing.

Anyway when I started to back down the ramp it slipped of and of course pivoted on the end of the tailgate and turned over on top of me. I didn't even have time to let go of the handlebars. I just laughed and threw the bike over to the side. It was funny but it hurt at the same time. I hadn't even ridden it yet and I had alreaty flipped.

Man, I really bruised my tail bone and of course my ego was bruised.

Just a couple of scratches on the plastic though. I was lucky.

I didn't have any retention cables on it then so it wouldn't slip off the tailgate but you can bet I put them on the very next day.

its happened to me when i was backing out of my garage. not much happened although the front hit the door and put a good dent in it. it was a little spoky :O

i did it in front of my friends on accident, before i know it i was on my back and my z was pointing to the sky. my friends thought it was hilarious. :clap

i dno if you guys are in this post or belong to this sight, but in the rider safety class i took last spring after getting my Z (for the $ of course) there were two other guys there on Z's that bought them as a buddy pack and after the thing was done they were doin those in the parking lot, and the one dude flipped over on cement doin that. mhihi.gif it was funny especially because us and our quads were covered in sticky mud. if there wasn't snow on the ground here, i might try it...right now the tires just slide on the snow/ice. :re

haha, the first ramp we got, it was getting a feel for it, just riding up it and rolling backwards down it. wel i wanted to see the gap on it so i thought it was a good idea to stop at the peek of it. the whole quad came crashing down.....it was like sand paper....that sucked....i felt like a retard
