Full Version: Never New I Could Fly
I crashed on my snowboard instead of my quad which was crazy. I hit a foot high hump that was like a speed bump. I figured out it was a device that enables you to do a front flip and land about 30 yards out. Too bad I landed on my side. I tore a muscle in my back so I will not be riding for a few weeks at least.

Landing on your side sucks. I have been snowboarding for 5 years now and last year i tryed a 180 indy and almost did the same thing as you.
last season i fell on a doble black diamond i was sliding a fairly good rate of speed on my stomack faceing up hill so to get stopped i decide to put my feet down bad move i tell you what did my first back slam and boy it hurt had a bad head ache all day decided it was time to start wearing a helmet also three weeks ago i was at rausch creek and decided to jump a set of back to back doubles the first one was plauging me all day the 2nd wasn't bad to jump came around the turn in2 then3 then idont remember if i hit 4 but i over shot the landing on the video iwas 10 feet above the landing ramp almost hit the takeoff ramp for the next jump slammed my chin on the bars bit the crap out of my tounge and had 1 sore jaw :whoa

so many snowboarding wrecks, so little time. the funniest one i remember watching for a while was my friend michael. he pulled off a backflip, but right after he landed he slammed into a tree last year at a resort, he tried a double backflip and almost landed it, but barely over-rotated. not bad for being 16 years old haha.

yeah, thats what you get for boarding on a narrow trail through groves of trees. this wasnt at a resort, just a place up on the mountains above our town.
