i was riding with my buddies one day at a new place and it was awsome. one of my friends just got a brand new yfz the week before and it wasnt even muddy yet. he let my other friend take it out for a spin and that turned out to be a disaster for all three of us. i was on the my z of coarse(no one else rides my z ) and for like a second we lost site of each other. but we found each other very quick on the blind corner when he came around with the wheels in the air and i came the other way slowing down. his reflexes arent the fastest on a quad and i hit the brakes tried to slide it out of the trail but it was to late. i was side ways wen he hit me and i got throw like 20ft away from my quad that went up in the air, did a 360 and landed on all fours on top of a sapling :schweet: . the yfz didnt fair as well. the whole left side front end sheared off.....literally arms ,shocks,everything. the only damage to my z was a tweaked axel and my ac nerf bar was bent all the way to my frame. it just proves, dont lose site of your riding buddies and dont buy a yfz. enjoy

dude screw you i have riden one of those 450s and they are a heck of alote sweater then the honda 450 and they are the best handling bike in yamaha right now dude so if you say that you got alote of nerve to say that cause my uncles bike is the bike of the month for july :$#%*:

right on brother the yfz is over rated all i hear is yfz im so tired of hearing about that quad in the mags that id would rather read about country music and i hate i meen hate country music live on dimebag sorry to hear about the crash that sucks on any quad no matter what you ride :mad

I would take a Z, KFX, DVX, TRX450r, 250r, and a raptor over a YFZ.
