Snowgasm took 3rd in Pro Class. JDWXV3 took I think 7th in B Class. kimmuzz took 1st in Womens Class. I took 9th in C Class (my first race ever and there were 61 quads in C class!!)

--Thats all I can think of off hand. GYII had wood locked up until getting stuck in a mudhole on the last lap.

All in all it was a great day of racing and I cant wait for Ottumwa the 30th!!!!

You forgot Zquadnice taking home 1st in the +30 class.

I will hopefully see all you guys down in Brooks.

Oh yeah! OOPS!! Sorry Jerry! I knew I was missing someone!
I knew the 2 hours was gonna be hard, but I never could imagine how tired I was! It is truly unbelievable how those A riders (well, the top 3-4) and the others that turn those super fast times lap after lap. Those boys are in shape Im telling you!!! I hope to be better each race and maybe make a run at the C class championship if everything works out!
Leuker, hope you get to Brooks! Each race is gonna get better and better I cant wait!!

Sorry I have not been here in a while. Quadrookie shhhh about the my finish

!! I was really disappointed

. I just cant get this dang Honda figured out at all 3 races and 3 bad finishes 6th, 7th, and 10th

. I was much much faster on the YFZ but I could not keep it running of course the YFZ had Axis suspension all the way around any whoo. I think maybe I will wait for the new Suzuki maybe it will suit me better!! If Not I may go to a z400 and put some good shocks on it LT Roll Design and Axis!! I hope to make another Iowa Race they are great!! They (Andy and Tracy) acctually want you to be there unlike in Missouri. ANd I tell you what that 2 hours really really broke me in good, I raced an hour and a half in the Mo race and I was not bery tired at all. Then raced 2 hours at Loretta Lynn's and felt ok as well. The Farm just kicked me into shape I guess. Later, Josh

I will tell you what Josh, that track at The Farm beat the hell outta everyone! There was sompin about it, maybe the MX part, maybe all the off-camber stuff, I dunno, but I was soo tired too, I thought I would die. Then at the Ottumwa race, I was not at all tired, or even hardkly sore afterwards. Even after struggling a couple laps stuck in the creek for a couple minutes each time, and I was ready to do another 2-3 laps! And everyone pretty much agrees that it was one of the best tracks for a harescramble ever. So I think the farm was just a very tiring track. I have a bent frame and steering stem mount I have to fix before the Brooks race, which I bent while running 2nd at Ottumwa on the last lap!

I still managed to finish 5th and am tied for 5th in overall so far. I dont think there is a better machine out there than a Z/KFX. It takes a little more to stay with the 450's power-wise, but a great rider can beat an ok rider on a YFZ or R anyday on a Z. I bet the new 450 is just awesome. Hope you make some more Iowa races.

I hope I can make more as well they are fun. You guys really really have it good up there. Ask Matt(aka Ubeensmoked) he raced a MO race and he sees how we get treated. I hope the Iowa Series expands and has a few races in MO maybe kinda like a little MO, KS, and Iowa and Illinois Sereis. That would be cool! Anyway hope to see you all again! And I agree the Z is a pretty dang good quad and with good suspension in my class even with no motor mods a good rider could take a few wins. Later, Josh

Maybe someday if we keep growing it could turn into a midwest series, who knows? I wouldnt mind tryin a Mo. race someday. Prolly wont be til next year tho. I am on such a tight budget I am lucky to even make all the Iowa races. Well, we have 2 races, well 3 left counting Bussey that arent too far from Mo. The bussey one will prolly be a huge one. Thats where ATVSport magazine was last year, and its at our main riding park in the state so there should be tons of people there. The other two are at Brooks and Leon. Leon would be closest to you.

I hope to find out next year what good suspension can do for you. I think I could be pretty fast if I had some on my KFX. Right now Ill settle for being able to turn the handlebars! LOL.

I say we just keep the races in Iowa. Need to remember there are quite a few guys that race the Iowa series from MN and WI.
Sounds like there are problems in both MN and MO. Most of the problems revolve around bikes vs. quads. A good share of the Bike guys hate the quads. It is getting so bad that I think there is going to be a MN ATV harescramble series within the next couple years.
