I am trying to plan a trip to Wolf Pen Gap near Mena, AR if anyone is interested. I would like to ride with some of you guys, and girls, from the site. I will probably decide the dates within the next week but it will probably be around the end of September or early October. I have been there a couple of times before and I still haven't covered all of the trails. There are many more trails that the rangers allow you to ride on that are not listed on the WPG trail map. The trails are beautiful with a little of every terrain. The last time I went we rode all day Sat. and Sun. and the trip totaled 293 miles. I hope to hear from some of you soon!

Sounds cool, exactly where is the trail head?

Eyezlee I see that you are from Broken Arrow, OK; is that close to Broken Bow? If it is you are not far. Once you reach Mena on Hwy 71 you must head east on Hwy 8 for about 3-5 miles and there will be a sign that reads "Buckeye Cabin Rentals" on your right. Turn on that road and procede for about 5 miles and there will be a trailhead on your left. There is also three other access points to this trail. There are trail maps at each of the access points and also at each of the cabin rental resorts. Last year we went at this time and we found that the temp and the scenery is awesome! I plan to rent a small cabin at one of the resorts, which I have not decided yet. I am also not sure yet when I will be going but I do know that it will be Fri.-Mon. Broken Arrow == Tulsa suburb. I'd like to do a trip like this but cannot schedule yet do to work commitments thru October. Thanks for the info sounds like a blast.
