The ATVCCS is having their east vs. West race that weekend. I'm racing so If anyone goes give me a shout! I'm #207 in the 4-stroke class. The race is at Mudcreek offroad park.
jt
Anyone going? It should be about 200 or so entries.
CrazyZ11
I thought about it but I'm way too wide. I may save some money and buy some arms and shocks for XC.
jt
Well I placed 5th! Not bad considering I had my set-up WAY too hard for the course. I did not ride the track before the race which was a big mistake. I still had it set for a mx track for big jumps. It beat me almost to death. I still had fun though.
CrazyZ11
How was the track? I may go to the Jan 29th race. Is the track very narrow?
I hate to get to the race and be too wide for the trails.

hey jt

congrats on the 5th place, Let me know when you are going back to race in the ATVCCS, maybe ill hook up with you
how long was the race?

we also need to plan a ride at the river maybe after new years, ive been so busy with hurricane Katrina and all, but thats good ill be able to get a r450 soon

Crazy the track is very wide. You could go around it on a 50 inch wide bike with plenty or room. The track is 7 miles long with a mile or so in the woods with hills. The rest is wide open fields. The track is sandy type soil with whooped-out sections. If racing set your suspenion med to soft with a little faster than factory setting rebound.

Hey Grant, good to here from ya. Give me a shout and we can go to the river anytime you want. The race total was 35 miles or so. 5 -7mile laps. It was a blast. That was the 3rd race I ran in the atvccs. I like it. They have the new season starting in jan. at this same park. I'm thinking of going to it, so let me know if ya want to go- if we do we can meet crazyz11 as well. jt

I am definatly thinking about going. I do have one more question though. What do you guys do about gas? Do you guys ran an oversized tank?
jt
I have my stock tank. With all my mods I get around 42 miles out of a full tank. You can pull over anywhere on the course and have a pit stop. We usually camp right by the track in case I need to stop, but I have been lucky that I have not had to in the three races I have been in.
CrazyZ11
Well thats great considering we have about the same mods. clap.gif That one thing less I have to worry about.
