Got a few complaints about the for sale forum, so figured we would add some new rules.

1.) If you don't set a price for your items, YOUR THREAD WILL BE DELETED!
2.) No price bidding! Set a price like above.
3.) Don't reply in a thread that you have NO INTEREST in.
4.) Don't flame the seller!!! you do and YOU WILL BE WARNED! This results in a temp. ban!

Got it? Good!

How about if the seller has negative feedback? Are you saying we are not aloud to tell other members about the bad transaction in their thread?

I would want someone to tell me if they got ripped off.

Maybe you should ban the bad seller instead of the buyer? I know there are two sides to every story but, if a buyers gets ripped off then for god sake don't let that same seller keep it up, get rid of him! If you do that, then there shouldn't be any flaming in current auctions!

An idea would be to link the post that complains about the bad seller......

Or maybe just make it the responsibility of buyers to check in the archives for feedback on the seller....

I've been pm'ed in the past about bad sellers when I would first reply about wanting a sold good. In other words, I replied on the thread that hey I might be interested and I got a pm that said, hey this was my experience with this guy and, boom, I was forewarned.

What if you're wanting to give that seller public praise and a free bump? That would be in violation of rule #3 but in a good way....

Recently, I think I have seen more helpful replys than ever before.

So can we PM the person an offer at least if we're interested?

How about no "Wanted" in this section either?

And I know it's a pet peave of mine, but I hate when people list a quad for sale and don't tell where they're located.

Good job on the rules so far NormalZ! I wish some of the bickering and bashing each other would stop. Everytime I go to read a thread, theres 3 pages of it and you have to hunt for what the threads actually about.

I really wish we could have a Make Offers as our price, because now if someone wants to spend less than my set price, it would be a violation to tell me so.

Flame a seller = saying something negative towards that person.

Bump = bump the topic to the top of the forum list so it's the first topic you see in that section or when you click the "view new posts" icon.

You should not allow links to Ebay. Make the forum for Z400 owners who want to help out other board members not advertise their auctions.

i know it is kinda pain to do it when you are selling alot of stuff but on the buying end it is even more frustrating when you dont know how much the person wants. i was warned once already and i understand why now.
