I'm trying to gather some people together for next weekend, There was a nice size group out here last weekend, and I had a GREAT time. There'll be several drag strips on the lake, as well as at least 1 oval. I am going to talk with a couple people about building another oval a little bigger. Parking is VERY limited, so come early. ORV stickers are REQUIRED. Do NOT try to come here without one, you WILL be fined. DNR love to mess with us around here. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. You can purchase one at Mitchells Sport Shop, which is right where the drag strips and oval tracks are. I believe you need a oakland county parks permit to park there, You can probably call them to get more information. Here is there information:

The traction they are getting is insane. I may not have to wait for snow.

Just a heads up, we are looking at some warm weather today. BUT, tonight all the way through Tuesday we're looking at sub 20 degree weather! The ice should be plenty safe on Saturday, I'll get out there on friday after work and check the conditions and thickness.
