I'm north of Atlanta and like to ride Broad River ATV (private) and Locust Stake (public.)

I'm nw of Atlanta and I practice at Talking Rock Arena and I race part time at Calhoun and Bremen. I trail ride at highland park resort in Cedartown and at Houston Valley ORV park in Dalton (Only open from 4/1-12/31).

How is Highland Park? I've been following the ordeal that they had to go through to be allowed to operate.

The group I ride with has been wanting to try them out.

We usually ride Locust Stake, Whissenhut, and Broadriver ATV.

I've never been to any of those, but Highland Park has very well marked and maintained trails as well as good parking. It's fairly easy to get to and the directions online are spot on. Not as big as some places, but it's somewhere new and with what they had to go thru, I will spend my $ and time there before I went somewhere else.

I have been to Houston VAlley a few times, nice place. I am located in the very most NW corner of GA.

A couple of guys that I ride with really like Houston Valley.

Have you been to Oakey Mountain? I hear that one is a difficult trail.

is that a seperate place or a trail at Houston Valley? If seperate no, i haven't, but if its at Houston Valley then I believe I have rode all trails there.

There is one particular trail that goes up and around the mountain that is extremely rocky, we always avoid it.

Any of yall been to durhamtown we should meet up there one day I have never been and DVXRIDER pm me next time you go to highland park I am going next weekend like he said it is very nice now they have a building where you pay for entry that has free hot chocalate and other drinks and tons of quad parts you can go into.

Durhamtown is very ATV unfriendly. The owner will take your money but considers atver's white trash and has said so on his own forum. I would rather not ride than give that SOB my money.

Rocky Creek atv area in Culloden, Ga. is a great place, Kentuck ORV in Oxford, Al. is very nice, never been to Durhamtown.. heard too many bad things about the way they treat the quad riders. I am going to check out Highland park and a place called The Ridge over in Alabama, got a buddy that's been there a bunch of times and says it's a cool place.

anyone going to the hairscramble race sunday at broadriver out past athens, it is part of the series that is going around the south east. Also i ride at durhamtown all the time and i think it is great, i have never had a problem there and i dont know were else you can go and ride over 100 miles of trails and on 6 different mx tracks.

I know this is old but has any1 been to the macontosh track? Aka Mr.Manor's track its near where the smallest church in America is..

uhhh where the smallest chruch in america is in macontosh county.. near Savannah and hinesville

the track is small kinda but there are alot of fast people on it.. the best person there is william.. lol only 1 person beat him but it was only 1 time william has a 2007 crf450 and the guy that beat him oliver has a 2005 kx450f with a full yoshi pipe i think and some other stuff but there are some quads that come when i went there were about 6 and about 20 dirtbikes lol

Im matt. i live. just.west of atlanta in carroll county.. its just below cedartown where highlands is. Well ive road at kentuck which wasnt too bad. i am thinking about goin to highlands but one prob wit them is the noise restrictions. my z is too loud i believe. i dont know the exact db but i know its loud. and for the other places we mainly just ride power and pipe lines. and sometimes other places that friends know of.

I was up in the Moultrie Georgia, Talahassee area a few weeks ago visiting some Family, there is a nice MX track called the MX Ranch, It was right outside of Cairo down in the southern parts of Georgia, it was pretty nice.

not sure what u guys have heard about durhamtown but that place is freakin awesome! i went and actually played pool against the owner and he seemed pretty cool. and the ladies that work there come off to b jerks but they arent after u talk to them but hell if i had to put up with kid all day id b a pain sometimes too lol but dude they were nice to us and me n my buddies stayed in the lodge playin pool till like midnight n they ladies were talkin to us n everything else......the tracks were very well mantained and the trails were awesome.....u should deff try going.....i live about 45 mins from the ridge n its alright but one of the tracks is kinda insane lol i dont like it for crap but other than that the trails r kinda rocky n rough but its fun and kentuck is pretty kool too.....my next place to try is highland park myself but if ne1 is ever in alabama hit me up.....ill deff meet yall somewhere to ride. just send me a message at zkid09@aol.com or pm me on here
