I emailed elka for a price, and this is what they said;

The reservoir upgrade kit is only available as a remote reservoir upgrade.

You have two options for this upgrade:

-with no compression adjuster, $315.00 Us (pair)

-with compression adjuster, $460.00 Us (pair)

The job is done here at the factory and turnaround time is 5-6 working days.

Can anyone tell me if they can do it cheaper?

You could always just buy the remote rezzies by themselves and add them on yourself. You can also recharge them yourself. They take regular motocycle fork oil and need 150 lbs. of Nitrogen which you can have filled at any number of places.

That I couldn't tell ya. I have priced them through Works.....a long time ago and at that time they were like $150-175. I figured if I kept these works shocks then I'd just go ahead and get the rezzies and add then myself and then recharge them myself as well. If you get dirt wheels there was a nice article on rebuilding your own shocks in the Jan or Feb issue. Check it out.

I have that issue of dirtwheels. Now Iam just thinking of selling my rec series and buying new or used with resevoirs, plus I dont think elka sells res seperately without being a dealer. But thanx for the info!
