I just recieved an order from rocky mountain atv and I got the sand snake 8 paddle haulers, well here is my question when they are mounted on the machine is each paddle from either side (right or left) suppost to be directly across from each other or does it matter?? It is to my understanding that they are but these are staggered.......... thanks in advance!

Take the hub off and move it so that when the tire is on the paddles line up..

How hard is it to move the hub? Also is this a common thing with paddle mounting or should they always line up?

dude, you gotta be kiddin me right? here is a hint...it involves 1 big nut and 1 small kotter pin. and the alignment of the paddles is a real non issue unless you are one serious drag racer.

You will notice if there staggered, I noticed a big diffrence when mine were staggered. i was able to deflate one and move it on the bead. It wasnt it easy, but its possible use a tie down and some soap.

No just remove the hub and line them up..real easy just get the torque on the axle nuts right.

Just seen this post... but I heard they line up by themselves? I think it was over at YFZ central or something that I seen one kid post that when you ride hard they just line themselves up. Removing the hub is a pain in the arse if it's your first time. And the castle nut was on there GOOD too.

I'm not sure you would notice it much in the sand, but you will definately notice it on hard ground/ pavement which alot of parking areas are.

the will line up if you deflate the tires and take a quick ride, just be easy on the turns and try not to pop a bead. It would be much easier to just take off one of the hubs and rotate the whole wheel/hub at once so they are lined up and be done. Honestly mide are sometimes lined up and sometimes not and i dont notice it a bit.

Chances are the tires will spin on the rims if you are riding them hard enough anyways. I certainly wouldnt send them back because they were offset, thats for sure. I'm fairly certain that being staggered isnt much of an issue in the sand.

honestly it wont effect anything. you wont start to drift doing a wheelie if the paddles are off set. Thats only if there are diferent size tires or the pressure doesnt match.
