Well, back on the 5th of January I ordered one of the "Dominator" bumpers from Pro-Armor. No mention on their website when I ordered it that they weren't even making them yet. I called them in the middle of January to check the status and they proceeded to tell me that the bumpers were not being produced yet for the Z400, but it should be ready to ship by the first week of February. That sucks, but I decided to wait.
No bumper still as of today. So, I get on Pro-Armor's website today and see now where it says to place your order in advance get an extra 10% off!!! The bumpers will be ready in March!!!! What the heck??? I ordered it back in the beginning of January at FULL PRICE with the belief that they were ready to ship! Needless to say, I called them today to see what was going on. Sat on hold for 5 minutes and was told that the bumper will ship to me in March. No apologies and they never even mentioned the fact that they were screwing me out of the 10% deal. I canceled my order. That really sucks though, I like their stuff and was planning to outfit my Z400 with all their stuff; not now since this is how they treat people.

If Pro-Armor is out of the question for ya I also suggest PRM. They have great stuff and very good customer service. I like them both. They're both great quality. :)

Well here's another update for everyone....
Yesterday I emailed my complaint to Pro-Armor after I got off the phone with them. A couple of hours later, I received an email from the sales manager wanting me to call him when I got some free time. I called the sales manager today and he apologized like crazy and stated that Pro-Armor has been trying to update their website since the beginning of the year and this was part of the problem but he wasn't trying to make excuses for their company dropping the ball. The sales manager stated that customer service is Pro-Armor's #1 priority and when customers make complaints like mine, the stuff hits the fan at Pro-Armor. The sales manager proceeded to apologize and state how important every single customers is to their company. The sales manager advised me that if I would give Pro-Armor another chance and still wanted to order the bumper he was going to give me a significant discount on the bumper and hook me up with some other goodies. I am VERY HAPPY with how the management at Pro-Armor stepped up to the plate to make stuff right. This is great because I love their products and apparently they do care about their customers. I'm back with Pro-Armor and can't wait till March 10th when I get the new bumper! I'll post some pics when it comes in.

heh, thats why i usually order stuff from a distributor of brand/someone that sells that particular part or equipment for that very reason. or just go on z400central.com and order it from someone that is selling it used :) but in your case, i know how it goes. ive ordered stuff that was said was in stock and ended up being on backorder. glad ur back with pro-armor tho. in my eyes its a great company and daum, march 10th? guess best things are worth waiting for aye? cant wait to see the pics!
