Well, I finally got the Z back together. It went in stock. It came out like this:
HMF Slip ON - Blue
CRD Head Pipe
Hot Cams - both I & E
Dyna FS non-programmable
DRZe valve springs and base gasket
Dyno JEt kit - 165 main jet, 3rd clip needle, stock pilot, 2 3/4 tunrs on the fuel screw
Kibble White Valves
DID Cam Chain
ESR air box lid
Elka rear shock
Houser long travel swinger
Dura Blue +2 axle
Powermadd handguards
I have not installed the 42mm Keihin yet, it is on the way, and I have not received my AC nerfs or bumper either. They have promised to ship for three weeks now. Today, AC said they would throw in a Skid Plate if it will fit the Houser. I am putting the RAZR2's on first thing in the morning before I head for the track.
I am impressed with the new hp. It was not the screaming rocket that I was hoping for, but it is much faster than stock, especially on the top. It does not wheelie any easier than it used to, maybe becasue of the new rear end, but the power comes on quick and pulls harder from mid to top. The new rev box is awesome. It is really nice to stay in a gear and keep winding. I realize how bad the stock tires are now. They break loose way to easy and are almost uncontrollable. I can't wait for the RAZR's.
There is one hill that is very steep near the house. Both my stock Z and my buddies piped EX have trouble making it to the top in 2nd. I would either have to down shift or really get a handful of clutch and rev it to make 2nd work. Today with the new set up, I reved a little at the bottom in 2nd and absolute killed the hill with ease and even jumped off of the top with plenty left. I had no fear what so ever that I was not making it. That is a great feeling.
I haven't been on a 450, but two of the shop guys took my Z for a spin and thought it was very comparable, and maybe quicker than a stock 450. Overall, I am pleased. Hopefully, the 42mm carb will give me even more.
