I just wanted to let anyone in AZ know that if you’ve wanted to try TT racing but didn’t want to invest in expensive Hoosier or American Racer Flattrack tires that on June 30th at AZ Speedway they are having a knobbie tire night. No flattrack tires needed (or allowed). So far, any and all other modifications are allowed. They’re really trying to increase their quad turnout and thought this might be a way to get things started. There will be classes for all skill levels and sizes of quads and they will have open practice on Friday the 29th if anyone wants to give that a try. You can go to azspeedway.com for more info. Or, feel free to PM me and I’ll tell you what I know. Hope to see some of you out there.
ALSO, this is for quads and 2 wheelers as well. This past weekend I rode two classes, Quad Pro on my LTR450 and the "Mad Dog" class. I rode my little chinese pitbike and it was a blast! So don't think that you have to have a hi-dollar machine to go racing & have fun. We're also working on a class for adults on little quads. So far there's just me on an LT80 and another racer on a Kymco 90 so, should be lots of fun.
