Just a call for anyone that is going to burnt river sometime. If anybody hasn't hear of burnt river it is in Ontario and it is located near Peterbourough about 45 minutes north or so.

I am out there at least once a month it is usually pretty good except for today when I went off a fairly bid jump and landed wrong and blew my both back tires!!!

hey have you ever been to their hare scrambles there i was thinking about going but i'm not sure if its worth it it will be a long to get there from my place.

nope never ran in any of thier harescrambles but I have rode on the trail system that the hare scramble is on and it is very very very stoney lots of bolders rocks some creek crossings few wide open areas but all in all it is a fair trail, it is about a 14 km run I was on it yesterday and I beat the crap out of my bike on it, personally I rather the motocross track.

oh so its like around madawaska and i'm gonna need another skid plate if i go there. allright thanks for the notice i might go check out their track when i get the quad put back together then.

hope too see u out thier when u do. Dont see so many quads out thier but it is still very fun to race the dirt bikes, I can beat alot of them but u get those fast guys out thier and they just fly by me and shake thier heads!!!

I hear ya, I was out there a couple months ago and ripped the skid plate right off of my quad! All the 4by's were awed by how much stuff I made it through though

how often do you go out to burnt river? i only made it out thier 4 times this year but i am like 2 hours away so it is kinda inconvienient to drive thier every weekend. do you ride the mx track or just the trail system thier?

if i wanted to drive trails i would just stay here we have WAY better trails to ride or play race on then burnt river. but the track is where i tear it up. i tore both back tires off last time i was thier!! dont know how that happend but i have the rims to prove it. I am hoping to get my girlfriend out on the track this year. She is pretty good on the trails and even in the gravel pits so it should be pretty neat to watch her tear it up on the track.

hey, we'll have to arrange something for this summer its about a 4hr drive for us from here but i know if i was to take the boss up to the trailer for the weekend and accidentally have to stop at the track which is somewhat way out of the way i'm sure she wouldnt say too much, although she might make me buy her a quad but i hope not i cant even afford my toys.

ya take the "Boss" i like that, my G/F is pushing me to get he a new bike also, we are going to look at a 2004 z400 with some mods tomorrow then she might be able to keep up with some of the bigger bikes!! she's actually pretty fast.

I'm still trying to convince my g/f to get a quad... I don't think its working though. I would like to go to burnt river again. We should organize a ride this spring. It's about 4 hours from here too.
