31st Nebraska Jamboree
Nebraska’s Biggest Off Road Vehicle Event!!

Under 19?? Read the special information concerning MINORS below.

WHEN: October 20th and 21st 2007, Saturday and Sunday!!

WHERE: The Headworks Park NOHVA Jamboree is 5 miles WEST of Genoa Nebraska on state highway 22. Directions - From the south side of Genoa and the intersection of state highways 22 and 39, follow the red and white "NOHVA JAMBOREE" Signs, travel about 4 miles and look for the HEADWORKS PARK sign! Simply follow the red and white signs along the highway! SEE OUR MAP

WHO: ATV and dirtbike riders. All those who participate in or spectate (watch) the jamboree MUST BE NOHVA Members! Non-members can sign up at Jamboree to become members or complete and bring a membership application to the event. ALL VEHICLES ARE LIMITED TO 55 INCH WIDTH TO GET THROUGH THE OHV PARK GATES!

WHY: To Have Fun, Meet Other NOHVA Member Riders and Explore the Headworks OHV Park. Proceeds of this event are used to cover expenses involved to operate public ATV and Dirtbike areas in Nebraska and benefit local Emergency and Medical services in Nance County.

COST: $15 per adult 16 years and older PLUS a membership for non-members. Look for the big tent to sign in. Riders under 16 FREE admission and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian the entire weekend. All those who sign up for the event will receive an event pass. This is a members only event, and everyone, including GUESTS must sign in and receive event pass. NOHVA membership is required for all those who participate in or watch the jamboree and events. If you purchase an arm band and either break it or loose it, you will need to provide a membership card to prove membership AND purchase a new band for $15.

12 noon - All Ages Barrel Race – Sponsored by Dennis and Tami Walz of Creative Cabinets, Grand Island
2 PM - Timed closed trail race - Time event one ATV or dirtbike at a time on a closed trail through the trees.
3 PM - ATV Sled Pull Sponsored by Motoplex of Norfolk, Polaris of Norfolk
6 PM - Poker Run - Sponsored by Construction Rental in Grand Island

11 AM Side by Side Sand Drag Races
3 PM Raffle sponsored by Parts Unlimited and multiple ATV and dirtbike dealers!



All event participants are REQUIRED to use a DOT approved helmet, eye protection, and over the ankle BOOTS (no high top tennis shoes or sandals). Long pants and shirts required. All machines must be in safe operating condition. Machines deemed unsafe may be rejected from events. NO CHILDREN ON FULL SIZE ADULT MACHINES.

ACTIVE US MILITARY PERSONNEL: We want to show our appreciation for those who are serving our country! We are offering free admission with an active or active reserve ID, NOHVA membership required. Let us know that you are with the military during sign up.

FREE CAMPING FOR JAMBOREE PARTICIPANTS! There will be no power or water at the main jamboree site, but it is available nearby at other camp sites on a first come, first serve basis. All parking spots and camping areas are first come, first serve, no reservations.

RAFFLE INFORMATION: Raffle tickets are $1 each and you must be present to win on Sunday.

DIRECTIONS: The Jamboree is at Headworks park, located 3 miles west of Genoa on state highway 22. Follow the red "NOHVA JAMBOREE" signs on Nebraska highway 22.

The Sheriff and/or State Patrol WILL BE monitoring and checking for alcohol use in the parking, camping or picnic areas and LOCAL ROADS AND HIGHWAYS.

MINORS!!! AN APPROVED PERMISSION LETTER FROM OUR WEB SITE OR SENT TO YOU VIA THE MAIL IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND.

If you are under 19 and attend the jamboree WITH YOUR PARENT or guardian, you and your parent/guardian can sign your releases at the jamboree.

If you are under 19 and attend the jamboree WITHOUT YOUR PARENT or guardian, special permission forms MUST BE SIGNED and notarized in order for you to be allowed to attend, spectate and participate in the jamboree. Click HERE for complete instructions on our Minor Release Information Page.

Hand written letters are no longer accepted. Only the approved NOHVA forms will be accepted.

ALL THOSE UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MUST BE UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF A PARENT, A DESIGNATED RESPONSIBLE ADULT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN AT ALL TIMES.

Direct supervision is defined as “the minor under 16 must be within DIRECT VIEW of the parent, adult or guardian at all times”. Anyone under 16 is not allowed to “ride around” in the parking area or any trails unless they are in the direct view of the parent, adult or guardian, even with all letters and releases completed. To have forms mailed to you must contact our business office no later than October 10th, 2007. Call 308-381-2143 and leave your name and mailing address.

NOHVA MEMBERS: PLEASE BRING YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD FOR SPEEDY SIGN-IN OR A PHOTO ID TO VERIFY YOUR MEMBERSHIP if you do not have your membership card. ALL those who are not members are required to sign up at the jamboree.

EXPIRED MEMBERS: IF IT IS AVAILABLE, BRING YOUR EXPIRATION NOTICE TO THE SIGN IN TO SPEED THE PROCESS UP!

NON- MEMBERS: Purchase a 2008 NOHVA single membership for $25 or a family membership for $30 and get the rest of 2007 FREE! (Expires March 31, 2009) Weekend only memberships will be available for $15 single and $20 family, and will expire on October 22nd, 2007. Membership applications will be available at the sign up tent or can be downloaded and completed prior to the event. No reserving of camp spots. Sign up for a membership before the Jamboree to save time at the sign up tent!

No operation of generators, stereos, dirtbikes and ATVs after 11 PM or before 7 AM.

Gates to the trails close at 11 PM. If you are riding on the trails after the gates are closed, your machine will be stuck there until morning. During our last Jamboree, several people were caught behind the gate after it was closed. They tried to remove the gate and ended up going to court for trespassing and destruction of property.
