Anyone out there know the intake and exhaust clearence? Still waiting on the manual to show up. Bellzbub and I plan on giving it a little maintence tomorrow. The thing has been pretty low maintence so far. But it's starting to tick a little. Thanks, D.

Didn't get to the 250 today after all. We did get the cam chain and the stearing stem bushings replaced on Bellz's Z. Just waiting for our Hatfield and McCoy trip next week!!!

I got my gf's z250 dialed in today. no airbox lid, uni filter, stock exhaust, peashooter out. dyno jet 134 main, needle on the 3rd clip, 22.5 pilot, 1.5 turns out on the fuel screw. I also added 1.5" wheel spacers all around. its a much more fun quad to ride now. rev's quicker, and sounds a lot better. Its still slow, but, its kind of fun to ride!

I just need to change the oil and filter, and we'll be ready to ride. I noticed it looks like it burns a little oil on startup, so, I may have some work to do over the winter.

iv'e got the same mods for the wifes z250 sitting here. if i could keep mine together long enough to get to it i'm sure she'd be happy.

yeah, get to it! I had to throw in the stock pilot from the z400, because I was having some idle issue's and was already 3 turns out on the fuel screw. I'm sure you've got the 22.5 pilot around somewhere... mhihi.gif It works out well, cuz the z250's pilot is a 20, so, its actually the next size!

The wheel spacers are nice too. I can hang it out around corners in 4th and 5th gear now without worrying about dying mhihi.gif

If we keep the 250 for awhile, I may even throw a bsr36 from a 400 on there...

Man, I want you to swap that carb on there so damn bad - I know it'll work great on the little beast!... mhihi.gif

if i had a stock carb around here i would try it. but alas the z stocker is long gone. i may be able to find one from quad82 if he still has one.

will be working on the 250 this week. gonna get it running good for her. hope to get some trail riding in this week. been racing and wrenching so much i would like to go and remember why i love to ride. this racing thing is time consuming. might even order her up a pipe for mothers day!

I need to find a stocker to try now, since my z is GONE!
