Well this weekend me and the rest of the SandHustler family went out to Heber to ride and Jump the prerunner. i flipped the front stock rims to give my stock front end a wider stance. It has always worked ot for me never had any probs but when i tried to roost at the top of a berm my right tie rod bent. Man i flew and rolled with my quad down that steep berm. So basically if my rims weren't flipped i would not have had so much stress on that tie rod and it would not have bent. Im just sore as hell right now, no injuries so thats good but my bike is out of commish for a while. With that in mind Does any one have or know anyone with +2 standard travel front end for sale? if you do let me know i'm kinda in the market for it. Thanks

that doesnt seem right to me... someone correct me if im wrong but the tierods for steering and adjusting the toe of the tires. tierod wouldnt get bent unless you hit something. you must have turned one way and done something the other jst right to bent it. or when it rolled down the hill it bent...

but nevertheless, its bent. and if you check in the forsale section theres a couple guys selling +2 a-arms right now

Yeah thats what i thought as well, but on the roost i felt my steering snap real fast. I could just assume that thats what i felt. Yeah i been looking on the for sale topics i didnt find much. Thanks

I agree, I would think doing that would stress your steering out. maybe just your wheel beerings!

I could be wrong but doing this throws out your camber and caster as the wheel moves up and down on the suspension travel. The guys that i was talking to this about also said that this would also throw the great handling of our machines out the window(slow steering i believe is how they put it). it also puts more stress through your suspension and your frame and with problems that our frames already have I have decided not to try this.

Do you need a pad for that period? You're "bleeding" all over the posts.....
