I'll be going to the Dumont Dunes with my riding group for the Halloween weekend (I know Halloween is actually on a Wednesday) Friday, October 26 through Sunday, October 28. I'll report back in on how things went.

I go every year when I can....but unfotunately I have to work.. I wonder what the air quality will be like with fires this year.

It was mostly overcast Friday and Saturday. I do not know the exact temperature, but it had to have been 85-90 during the day and cooled down nicely to around 60 at night. Lots of people and the sand was pretty torn up in parts. I didn't really notice any change in the air quality because of the fires, especially through all the race gas and two strokes rolling around.

I love my Z400. It rides really plush (which I like), but is down on power because of my big a$$. I gotta save up some money for the Athena BB kit. This was also the first trip on my new to me, (through Ebay) Works Performance shocks, and I loved the upgraded ride.
