XC Z440
Hey guys, i am switching from mx to cross country racing, and i wondered how many of you on here participate in the GNCC series. i am excited for my first GNCC which will be the one in Tenn. I also plan on going to Ohio and maybe Penn, but i am not sure on that one. We will have to see how high diesel prices are by then.

i try to race atleast one or two a year. Being a poor college kid and high gas prices only let me make it to the Sparta, KY race and the Ironman. They are a blast. Also, if you want to really run a lot of xc races, dont be afraid to check out some of the other series going around too. Some of the local races are really fun and competitive, plus they are a little cheaper. Some of the bigger series are indiana XC series, Mid-South series, I think theres an Iowa series thats pretty big, so be sure to check out whats available in your area.

I'll be at a few this year, Probably the Penton, Spartan, Snowshoe, Powerline Park, and maybe one of the Carolina races n' possible Somerset.
Only the FL and Ga races are rediculous far for me, Carolinas and Lorettas are 5-9 hours and all the ohio /PA ones are within 3. Local series are a lot of fun and will give a good idea of where you stand. Usually at the nationals there will be guys in your class that are a lot faster than you, and some that are gonna be first timers like a lot of the people.
