hey i was just wondering, my friend is a mechanic has a raptor and he re wired it not to use the rev box, can you do this to a z400? and also what is the black blob removal? and what does it do?

THe black blob is the key/ignition and light display on the handle bars

no the black blob is the set of switches on the handlebars at your clutch lever for headlights and starter,and choke.

how the F!!!! the rev box is the cdi and the cdi controls the spark for your coil, with out that thier your engine wouldnt run!!?? that is the stranges thing i ever heard ever !!!

o.k let me re word, no rev limiter....... i know you can eliminate the reverse limiter but what about the forward limiter, also what do you use for a start switch if you eliminate the stock bulky controls?

2 things. If you want to open up the Rev limit, buy a programmable CDI. next use the search button for "Black Blob" and you will get all the info you need on the removal.
