Went out to the dunes with a large group of friends this weekend for a ride.
As usual, we found a large smooth area in the sand and lined up for bragging rites

We had a bit of a shootout system running with 3 bikes at a time.
One standing start drag and the return was a second gear roll on.
In the line up we had 3 LTR 450's - 2 with yoshi pipes, air box lid off and cherry bombs.
3 Can-Am DS 450X's - all with the air box lid off, wire cut and de restricted muffler.
1 Can-Am 800 Renegade - stock
1 700 Raptor with full system and air box mod
And my KFX 455 - full system, webb cams, ported/polished, ect, ect

Final results:

3rd - Raptor and Renegade even ! (The Renegade was a surprise package)
2nd - LTR 450 with Pipe and Cherry bomb (one of the two)
1st - Constant draw between Can-Am DS450X, KFX 455 and other LTR 450

We swaped riders on all three fastest bikes 3 times and results came back the same

nice...the renagade 800 is amazingly fast for how big and heavy it is...my friend ramped and 85 ft tabletop on his lol

IMO it isn't surprising results. What kind of tires was everyone running?

Can-Am's all had stock tyres
LTR's were running kenda claws
My KFX has Razor 2's

tied for victory in the dunes with Razr II's??? Paddle up next time and it wont even be close

I run my RazrII's at Glamis and do very well! 2 lbs. tire pressure!
