No that is not normal. I dont' know how to replace that bushing in there. You may want to check your swinger and suspension link bearings as well.

i couldn't see the video, but i'm guessing it was the upper shock mount?
there is another thread on here talking about it, i believe there was some posts by flynbryn or something close to that so look for that thread. i don't think its replaceable but someone found a link to some allballs part that was supposed to do it.
i had to make my own upper shock mount for my elka, so i'm sure you could do the same with the stock shock its just a matter of time and if you have a lathe.
i was also very impressed with the allballs bearings kit. i've used them in the linkage, swingarm, and bearing carrier before and there all great. the linkage kit is only $70 and comes with all the bushings, bearings, and seals and each piece is individually wrapped and everything fits great

If the upper shock bushing is the rubber cushioned bushing they do not make replacements for them. I am trying to find a replacement for mine and will probably have to make one fit. I have gotten some suggestions and will try them out and let you know the outcome.

the linkage kit comes with the lower shock bearings. i was pretty sure they didn't sell the upper bushing, guess i was right.
if you can make that blockoff plate, it'll only take about 5 min. to make some bushings for the top mount. i can't remember what the stock shock looks like, but like i said the ones for my elka were really easy to make
