hey i was thinking of going to gopher this weekend and was curious if anybody wanted to meet up there or something i know a couple of you live close enough to make a tour out of it.

is it any where near bakersfield calif, im in. lets us know how it goes.

i would defiantly go, but I was there last Thursday. I w00tered up at the end of the day on that dam finish line jump. Broke my tib and fib in half. Now I got a titanium rod down through my bone and I’m in the lazy boy for six weeks. Watch yourself on that last jump. In the last 2 weeks there have been at least 3 guys break bones on that one. They changed up the track also. They got a few small doubles now. The track is nice as long as its groomed. Have fun, and be safe.
Oh ya and stupid me went to the track before I put my nerf bars on, they probably would have saved my leg. I was wearing mx boots though and they were a huge help.

ouch big time, last time i went there i came home with a concussion the day before i had to write a final exam for my electrical schooling. I also shattered my collar bone in 4 places last year at another track but i hope you feel better cuz thats gotta suck big time and if you want i got extra nerfs you can have although it sounds like you have some already now.

I'm heading to the St. Williams forest on Saturday. Its not a track , but its a nice trail system. Most of my buddies have 4x4's so I'll be riding there.

Ya I got some, thanks though. Just don't pre-load on that finish jump, its got way too much lip . And they put a new table top after the first turn. That one is a little short, easy to over shoot if your not careful. Don't even think about the trails, they were rediculasly muddy last week.

By the way Spook, how do you like the long travel setup? Mine blew me away, it was so smooth even if you mess up a double, its just like a cloud.

I havent really got a chance to dial it in a 100% yet I've just been to busy with work but even the way it is its a 100% better then the ltr shocks so much smoother in everything especially the breaking bumps which usually like to take me for a ride. The only problem i am having now is adjusting the camber and caster, I am pretty sure the frame may be tweaked a little from my crash last year but i am not certain. Other then that I wish i could get a swingarm and elka shock for the rear to make it match but i'm poor now as i just bought a new truck so that will have to wait then maybe an fcr and an athena.

Can some one give me a adress to the gopher dunes.. or give me an idea where it is?

Its just south of Courtland on 59 hyw. What direction you comming from? I know the area pretty good I'll give you directions.

im coming from east end of ottawa lol... i google maped it its about 7hour drive... would a nice trip might look into it for the summer some time next year.. since winter is about to hit...

Well then you'r best bet would be to take the 401 all the way to Woodstock, go south on 59 hwy. Just stay on that road it will turn into 13 then back to 59 after Courtland, then its only about 4 or 5 kms from there. http://www.gopherdunes.com/Directions___Local_Services.html
Long drive, there must be some good tracks up your way though. Lots more trails I bet. Just lookin at the sat image on google maps looks like you just have to head up north a bit into Quebec, its all forest.

It was in Quad Magazine ha. I Havent got them yet..they should be here this week. I was working and never checked my e-mail the one week so they got delayed.

I still got a few bugs to work out with my back brakes but let me know when you wanna go. September 27th is the ATV Provincial race and Sunday is the Fox Fall Hi- Point series and I'm racing Sunday only.

oh your one of those wild men, i cant say much its pretty sad when your 21 and still being escorted home by the cops. good thing they are all my neighbours so they dont mind much.

hahah well I've got chased 3 times this summer but i was doing a wheelie down my road and a cop drove by my road so i set it downa nd turned around and went into some fields and he cam flying down my road..pulled into my grandparents drive way (their my neighbours) and as he back out he ran into their mailbox haha..what a goof. My brother better hurry up and graduate from police college to get me out of this trouble.

hey, me and at least a couple of my buddies are gonna head out on saturday. I'll be rocking out the black and white z and a couple of bikes should there and maybe the 400 ex should be there about one o clock or so maybe a little earlier if we can swing it.

I think I'm going at 11 when they open because I have hockey at 3:30 so i`ll probably leave at one or so. You should try and get out there earlier :)
