Due to recent changes.... ill be needing a wireless broadband card for my laptop so i can run drop ship orders from where ever i may be at the time.

ill be out picking up used bikes, running around for parts, etc a few times in the week, and i dont want to have unhappy customers.... so i thought to keep our order speed up... i would look into getting a wireless card.

there are a ton of options.... and i just know nothing about them... so im looking for input.... what should i watch out for....

i have a sprint cell phone... works pretty good... but verizon seems to be best in the area for coverage... so im assuming the pc cards will be the same....

let me know what you guys have, and what you think... as well as what the monthly service costs... and how it works etc....

any info is appreciated.

I think sprint is good about their customers tethering their phones. I would call customer service and inquire about it. It may require you adding an internet plan to your contract. I do it with AT&T. They haven't complained yet though I here they will. I only periodically check email so I'm not pulling gobs of data every month.

don't even get me started with sprint. there lucky i have a contract or i would've cancelled it a LONG time ago.

anyways, make sure your plan (im guessing free internet???) includes hooking it up to your computer, or you will get an insane bill like this

My dad has verison through work..It will get service wherever your cell will its just not as strong of a signal and can be lost kinda quick.. its about as fast as dial up maybe a little faster.. like 100k Its a nice thing to have and I dont know how much it is since his work pays for it so.. but its super easy plug it in dial up connected..
