Ever since the website has changed I can't get the website to come up at home. If I am here at work everything is fine.

Any suggestions?

What internet service are you running? DSL, Cable, Dial up?

What Operating System are you running as well? If it's Vista, begin your endeavor in the Google search...I had the same issue with THIS and ONLY this website not coming up and it was a PAIN in the a$$ to fix!

I had some ignorant google urlhelper installed somehow.

If the web page wasn't fast enough or paused momentarily the browser defaulted to it, what a pain.

mine is doing that too..oh well I just type in "www.z400central.com/invision" goes straight to the forums..

if you still have the problems try using a proxy site and see if it works.

if it does i can tell you a setting in your internet to change, im just too lazy to look it up if it wont help anyone

You know, this is interesting because short of a year or so back, one day I simply could no longer access this sight from my computer at work, and still can't. It's the only one! Not with Internet Explorer or Firefox or any browser. It says that it "times out" etc.

So far I've emailed Steve about it as couple of times, and spent all kinds of time with AT&T internet tech support with no success. Somehow it almost seems like Central somehow blocks any attempt to connect from my work IP address, which is static.

Camaro, what's the setting change you were speaking of? Heck, if anyone here has any ideas, please let me know....even though, I wonder if it would be smart to be able to access this sight from work

Try Googling the issue man...one thing to include is "XP" or "Vista." You'll get ALL sorts of issues that'll pop up. If it's Vista I can help you, if it's XP, I can't because I never had an issue with XP.

open comand prompt and put ping www.z400central.com that will tell you if its being blocked..otherwise I had the same problem with this site.. it was because I had a type of internet accelerator..couldnt get on central..

try this http://www.dnsadvantage.com/ but copy your old ones (if there is anything written there, there wasn't for me) and see if it does the trick

hope i dont have that problem with the new computer when it gets here..ill have to write all this crap down just in case because it has vista and im getting dsl next thursday so who knows if itll work for me...if it doesnt ill have to go get the sledge hammer and make it work lol

It should work out of the box. Mine didn't start it until after 6-9 months of having the computer. Trust me, you'll be fine out of the box.

If not, however, just Google like "website not showing Vista" or something like that...OR Google the error that you're getting popping up...

It's really pretty easy. You just have to have patience with it...

it better be fine lol damn thing is brand new comming from dell...but ill finally have sound again and with the dsl ill get to watch quad vids which this one wont even do haha 3/4 of the time it wont load pics people post up on here

well iv got a new gateway laptop. and havent had any trouble yet. it has vista and i use firefox.

That's a problem all in itself...Good luck with that one. I've never had good luck with Dell's...along with MANY people I know.

Let me just say this, Dell's are cheap for a reason. Along with any other thing, you get what you pay for.

Nothing meant towards you Nightraven, I have a Dell in my home (girlfriend's computer)...guess what? It's sitting on the desk, turned off and unplugged because now it won't connect to the internet and I can't for the life of me figure out what it's issue is. I don't really care though because I have this super computer that can handle two users using it...

trust me anything is better than this pos im on...its slower than i am after a 12 pack its running windows 98,no sound card it wont handle even the cheapest pos i found to put in it,56k dial up it wont handle dsl its a turd...so im getting the insperion 530s from dell with a 17" lcd monitor for i think it was 560 and the clown from the phone company will be here thursday to hook up the dsl

we wont buy really anything but dell anymore. NEVER buy a compaq there complete pos!
computers we've had good luck with is dell/toshiba/gateway. i'd buy any of them

well that makes me feel a bit better i really like it because it has the slim tower design and itll actually be faster than this thing...we'll see its "in production" right now because i added a couple things to it it had an estimated ship date of monday so i hope the hell its here by thursday

damn it i cant get the site on the new computer now wtf its running vista and for some reason its saying internet explorer cannot display the webpage wtf wtf wtf anyone have a fix for it?????send me an email xxnightraven73xx@aol.com it was working i reloaded the page and now it wont come up at all

I've been having a problem every now and then with it not wanting to load.. ?But I hit refresh and it fixes it.

i used the link camaro posted and it came right up.... i tried refreshing i tried restarting i cleaned everything out nothing worked except the link he posted i followed what it said to do and it came right up when i was done

We were getting errors with not connecting due to too many connections on the site. We have fixed that, so it should be a lot better now. Still ironing things out!

I usually get on the site from my blackberry when I get breaks at work. However, the past 2-3 days I can't access it. I can get on any site but this one. I guess as long as my home computer works it will be ok and I wont have to jump off a bridge. lol
