ok..might as well start talkin now..There has to be a nice big z4c silver lake trip this spring..as some may know..Tom (normalz) is movin to ohio..so we are plannin a trip for sometime this sping..jets I expect you to come too! No Idea on dates yet but Id like to say sometime april..may is pretty much off limits for me with graduation and everything..whats everyone think?

I'm good for any week end in April , specially the first one, tho there could be snow.

I'll have vacation!!!! Count me in!!! I'll probably have my girlfriend, my buddy I work with and his girlfriend too!

The only bad part is is that April will still be really cold up there, as Cataway said there will probably still be snow in some parts, which means that if there is snow it'll be really wet in a lot of areas too probably. Not that I'm complaining...just speaking for the other "not-so-warm-blooded" people...

Yeah.. my gf will probably come too..last year opening weekend there wasnt too much snow..idk

I don't know how anyone would feel about june, but I'm planning on going in either late may or june anyway. It's a lot warmer then and the conditions are just a lot better. You can also get cheap hotel rates until mid june.

I will also be in college and taking final's in april, so that would be a very hard month for me to find any time to go. Plus it's a 9hr drive without stoping for gas or anything like that. When you factor in gas stops and construction and delays, it's like a 12 hr drive minimum. The first year we went (2007), it took over 14 hours to get there because of construction and traffic jams. (Living in NY stuck as far as getting to the dunes goes).


Anyways, I'd def go any time in june or late may.

I plan on making 2-3 trips next summer...when I have vacation days to blow...

Yeah, I didn't know if all of may would be off limits or just when you graduate. Either way, I think early to mid june would probably be the best time to go because of the weather. In april, it's just too cold and the sand is a mess. In jume it's warm, but not too hot like it can get in the summer and the sand has time to dry out from the winter.

I guess just see what everyone else thinks though.

well I kinda wanted the sand to be a little harder/wet cuz there is less drag and you can just launch the hills..idk all of may is pretty much booked..senior trip/graduation/grad party...

That means you haven't been giving me riding lessons to write about on here so you better get back to it. I'm going to lose all my progress when the snow settles in.

I am planing a trip for sometime in April. sounds like it will be 6 or 7 of us so far. Would be cool to meet some of you guys. I will be filming also (amateur). I have wanted to put together a video for years. So i'm looking for big jumps, tricks, and drag racing.

So far for us will be mid to late April

It'll have to be a weekend trip for me, if my quad's running good...which means I need to begin working on it. I should have it done though, I hope. I have burnt up all the vacation I have until mid-June, but I'd be game for a Saturday ride and Sunday morning for a bit...then drive home since I'm not too overly far away.

yeah thats pretty much what we will be doing also but we will go after work on friday and leave when we are dead on sunday lol
