Hey Steve...or any of the mods that may know the answer for this...

I`m just trying to figure out why lately there are months when we still do the voting & there are some months that there`s no voting? Is there any reason it`s been that way lately? I`m just trying to figure out what`s going on w/ it is all...as I don`t ever recall it being like that in years past. Did I miss something somewhere along the line? It seems like it`s been a random thing lately as far as voting & not voting on QOTM goes & I`m just looking for some clarification as to why it`s been like that is all.

I wasn`t quite sure where to post this, so excuse me if it`s not in the proper place.

From what I understand its because there isn't enough entries for that month....

Possibly could be the reason I suppose...but on the other hand...there were I believe 5 entries for this month though & there was no vote...in June there were only 2 entries (me & the guy that won last month) & there was a vote...so that doesn`t quite add up to what your understanding on it is though...so I dunno.

No vote when i won..3 bikes i think..

Just saw this thread, so my apologies for the late reply, just coming now...

There was one Mod that was in charge of all the QOTM stuff - that was his only Mod responsibility (maintain QOTM), and he's not around much anymore.

Alot of times, Steve is so busy he doesn't even get on the site. He's been doing most of it for awhile now. When I notice it hasn't been started, or a vote thread up, I jump in and get it rolling. I miss it alot of times because I don't really pay attention to this section much.

So, in a nutshell, if Steve or I don't catch it, that's usually when it doesn't happen. I'll watch it more closely, and try not to let it slip again. There's only two months in all the time on the board that I can think of where there weren't enough entries to run it, but through the years, I can't remember exactly when those two months were.

I Thank ya for the explanation on it Tom! & n/p w/ the delay on it (heck...I JUST NOW saw where ya had posted your reply on it! ...so yeah...you`re not the only person that misses stuff here & there around here occasionally!).

Oh yeah...btw...pssssst!!!...I think we`re a lil bit past due on holdin` the votin` for the Feb. QOTM from the looks of it!

I'll get that up on Friday night, FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!.... Just saw this tonight, and I need to go back and "study" on how to put it up...

I missed entering for April too...oh well...no big deal though!...there`s always next month!!! (& I still need to get better pics taken of my KFX anyway. I`ve been waiting for the grass to green up & it`s finally done that here in the past few days now!!! ).
