Looking for the best way to remove the orange and yellow letters on a set of Razr tires without damaging the tire. I want the tire to look clean as opposed to me just taking sandpaper or a wire brush to them.

Permanant marker or tape off and spray paint black. That would be the cleanest and easiest.

Spin em up fast and use a cutting tool to remove it. Just like a lathe. Never done it but that might work.

you could use a 4" grinder with the flapper disc on it. it wouldnt damage the tire and you could take it down as far as you wanted

On the original Razr, the lettering is not raised. It is just stamped or paint on the tire.

Any other methods?

put the colored part toward the inside of your quad and ride through the trails one good time. then the lettering will be gone..

sorry bro i dont have any good ideas on this one. i think that is dyed rubber so i doubt that brake cleaner and paint thinner would work either... dont know man sorry

Mine wore off after a year or so when I had the Razr MX's on my Z. Just ride harder, It'll come off.

yikes zzzdanz!! that stuff probably isnt good for the rubber. id watch ur sidewalls, make sure they arent soft and could puncture easily. i use simple green to clean my quad and that appears to be having an adverse affect on the lettering, try soaking the letters down with some simple green and see if that works.
