I'll be leaving very early Friday morning and staying in wash 23. We might try to sneak into 20.....don't know about the new fence and how it will affect access to the less accessable washes with a motorhome.

Closer to our favorite hills and much less crowded.........looking at new developments in the fence the RR is putting up makes it look like the washes might be closed off to all of us! If this happens it will be worse then any partial dune closure.
If the washes are closed I don't think we'll be going to Glamis...........there's going to be thousands of people with nowhere to camp.

and I won't be going at Easter.

ooh man that sucks. but yea i hope the washes dont get closed cause of the recent events happening to glamis....immigrants
i doubt the washes are but i know there's gonna be a gate in the dunes of buttercup.
rinehart_mitch
Yah man they took the dumpsters out too, its all a scheme to shut the dunes down for good, and for what, so some tree huggers can save some plant that no one really likes?
ltz400 rider
wow. they already closed down the freakin left side of glamis (coming in) what more do they need?!?!?!?! glamis is for fun, gas, and fast a** machines not for gay tree huggers.
kalealmighty
ill be at gordons

right now it's looking like we may be OK but some of the washes might only have limited access at best.
The railroad is going to shut down access to wash road but said they would not do it before Presidents which will essentially close the washes off from wash 8 and up. The soulution is going to be grading a new road on the BLM side of the fence. Hopefully the millions of dollars generated every week by permits can help get that done. The biggest hurdle will be the enviro nazis.

jeez....thats alot im guessing its because of the easy access to the train tracks near the camp sites. i gotta give their website a visit
rinehart_mitch
