Hey guys, I was hoping i could get a little feedback on gripper seat covers, maybe if there is one in particular that doesn't fit as well as another, etc.

i think the quad tech is supposed to be the best but for 125$ they are a little steep. n-style makes a good one for around 60$
XC Z440
Yea i don't know that $125 is worth it for a grippy seat. mhihi.gif i don't want to spend $60 on a chatty one either though. and thats why i asked smile.gif

I like the hump seat, but i didn't see any for the Z400 on the Quad Tech site. I am sure someone makes them, but i didn't see anywhere in my quick google i did. I'd be willing to fork out a little more $$ for hump seat. lol.

i am the one that won the quadtech seat cover and i still have not received it. from what i understand they are worth the money because the fit really well and they have extra padding under the seat. just give it a day or two and some other people will chime in. i have ran an n-style and they are good....

i wasn't bashing the n-style, that way just my example. Anyways, the quad-tech does seem top notch and like i edited my above post i like the hump seat, and if i am going to throw down $125 i might as well shell out a few more dollars for the better seat. Just got to find it now. mhihi.gif. That is assuming that noone has any bad stories on the hump seats...I like the hump on my friends snowmobile and although the quad hump is nowhere near as big i think it would still be effective, and if nothing else it may be more comfortable for an all day dune ride.

Anyone have feedback on hump seats for me?
Camaro1976

Well, it's a good thing you guys weren't in real need of that stuff huh?
I like the gripper on the 450R.. dunno who made it..
But I haven't found one I really like for the Z yet.

Been trying to find a graphic and seat cover package for a white Z.. they are hard to find for some reason.

How grippy are seat covers, like can you still slide side to side on the seat when you want or do you have to like stand up to move from the center to the left, or left to right, etc? How about in the mud?

I have the factory effex one. Its alright. It holds up for about a season and a half before it starts to rip around the bottom of the seat bends. Its really grippy when its new.

You do sort of have to lift a little bit in order to slide from side to side, but once you get used to it, its fine. Where it really shines is when it gets wet or muddy. it gets a little slicker, but not anywhere near what the stock seat would.

I just bought a brand new gripper seat cover off of a guy for $25.00 Still waiting for it though...

I love the hump seats. My brother has the Quad Tech hump on his YFZ and loves it. It gives you a shelf to kinda hold your ass in place. I wish they made a hump for KFX's.

My girlfriends bike has the Quad Tech cover and its awesome. They fit great and look great. If they made them for my DS, I'd put one on in a second. I love Quad Tech covers and definitely recommend them.

The grip part really holds you in place and you don't slide around like stock covers. I have had cheap covers in the past and they didn't fit near as good as a Quad Tech.

K&K atv has a really nice gripper seat cover that matches their graphcs.. whole set i believe is around $180
