when i bought my quad someone had already removed the heel guards so my rear fenders kinda flop around... that caused the plastic to melt right over the pipe... is there any way to make it look a little better?? there is a huge notch burned in it..

cut the melted part off and sand it to make it look factory.. thats all I can think of

thats what i did, used a round wheel on a dremel to smooth it out real good and it looks factory. I stuck on some heat tape on the back of the plastics afterwards

Yeah i have some of the heat tape on there now and it stoped it from melting any worse..but i guess i will have to try and sand it down and see if i can clean it up.
