What year is this for? 03-04 or 05-09?

I doubt it matters because it comes with its own clutch basket

Yea but on Rekluses site it says something about a center clutch for the 05-09 models.
Suzuki
Z400 ATV z-Start Clutch w/ Manual Override 03 - 04 RMS162 $299.00
Suzuki
Z400 ATV z-Start Clutch w/ Manual Override (*) 05 - 09 RMS164 $579.00
(*) Includes Rekluse provided Center Clutch
What exactly the center clutch is for and why the 05-09s need it IDK but if the 03-04 models were the same they would list as 03-09 instead of 03-04/05-09.
And look at the price difference.

Has anyone on here sent this guy money for the Rekluse? He took my money on the 14th and then basically disappeared. No email response, no return phone call,....no clutch. Anyone ever deal with him?

With how I could never get ahold of the guy I figured he was either a scammer, or just didn't need the money bad enough to sell it...... Good luck to you.

Well I got a hold of him at his email address and asked him questions to which he responded regularly in 4 different emails. It was after sending him the money that he stopped communicating. What I'm afraid of is that he may very well need/want the money, and the clutch.
Its been 10 days which is not terribly long to receive a package, but with him cutting all communication after receiving payment, the skepticism has certainly set in. If its not here by tomorrow my ball starts rolling. Mail fraud is not a good thing.....

Just a FYI for any of you guys in case it goes back up for sale or it's offered to you by email.
I ended up having to dispute it with Paypal where I did end up getting almost all my money back. After sending him the money and then sending 4 emails and 3 phone calls and one voice mail later , I got no response at all from him until I entered the dispute with Paypal. Right after that he emailed me a fairly long and detailed story about some personal things happening with his family which apparently interfered with his ability to send me a 30 second email telling me to hang on.
So long story short, I told him to go ahead and send the clutch now, and that I'd just simply cancel the dispute with Paypal releasing the money to him, when it arrived at my front door. He refused to send the clutch until AFTER I canceled the dispute. Hmmmmm.
Interestingly enough, once you cancel a dispute with Paypal on an item you can never re-open that dispute on that same transaction again, thus leaving you with no recourse at all if the item is again, not sent....
So, I'm not tellin ya to not buy it but....let the facts lead you.

Oh, OK. I was wondering cuz when I had looked at his profile I noticed that nothing had been filled out.
Anyway, it got nipped in the bud and I got a message from Paypal saying that they ruled in my favor and that I should be seeing a credit on my credit card.
You know, I always like to choose to believe that people are honorable, especially on this sight, simply because I believe in it so strongly myself, but bad seeds will fall.....
I can say though, that I've done a good deal of business on this sight and never really had a gripe, and that's good. Hopefully the bux will show up as a credit on my card and we'll be done with it.
I'm sure he'll find someone somewhere else to send him money.....unfortunately.....
