if you dont have the black blob then its easy. look for a topic by spize909 and you will see where normalz posted a diagram.
wire your tether into the orange and orange/white wire

its the part that has the headlight switch and engine run switch on it. it will be on your left handle bar next to the clutch perch. the start button is on it as well

if you look inside that black blob there is i think 7 wires. you need to wire one wire of the tether to the orange wire and the 2nd wire of the orange/white wire. look at that wiring diagram and you will see what i am talking about

Read this thread - it's a step-by-step. It only works for a Normally Closed-circuit tether, so figure out what you have: Normally Closed or Normally Open. If you have a Normally Open Switch, then this won't work for you. Keep in mind, this is for the LTR-450, but the Blob wires are the same on the LTR and LTZ...

i have a pro design and how can you tell if it is a Normally Closed or Normally Open kill switch

it should say on the package. the normally closed switch completes the circuit with the tether installed. when it is pulled it opens the circuit killing the bike. the normally open switch has an open circuit until the cord is pulled then the circuit closes and grounds out the coil so it cant spark and kills the quad.

no since it is normally open it will not work with the blob. you would have to wire it to the coil. I do not recommend using this type of tether. is there a possibility that you could swap the tether out?

Best, smartest, safest kill tether to use would be (any brand)
Normally Closed Circuit tether...

you can still get rid of the blob without having a teather..you just tie the on/off wires together
