For all the gram counters out there. A 88-92 Quadracer LT250R sprocket hub is aluminum and fits the z axle. You just have to use Quadracer sprockets as the bolt patterns different.
The LTZ sprocket hub is aluminum, too... It's stronger than the LT 250R sprocket hub for a reason - 4 stroke torque. Ever see 4 stroke guys run aluminum rear chainrings? Not often. Know why? They won't stand up to the torque.
If people want to switch over to this thing, then have at it. If it was a worth-while replacement, it would have been run by the factory guys that were racing LTZs...
