take your choice on reeds they all help. as for the cyl. nuts 8.5 ft. lbs. to also help out I would sugest. taking .030 off the head and cuting the rear clutch shoes down to 180 grams and you will have a good little runner.

My boy is 8 an djust starting to ride so i dont want to over do it. We will take your advice on the .030" mill and clutch shoe but would like to know your opinion on this http://midwestmini.com/lt80_hop-ups.htm we are thinking about purchasing the Full Torque Package. What is your opinion. I do need a new carb. since the stock is toast. What is your suggestion? Does the one at tje bottom of their web page seem good?

What is your opinion on exhaust systems (opinion on the one in the package FMF too)?

Thanks again for your time.

BUY NOTHING FROM MIDWEST!!!!!! it wount last!! the carbs they use are put together( carb mounts) with j-b weld and it will come apart. why is your stock carb toast? on a stock motor a pipe does nothing or not much but make it louder. On mine I took out the plug and it sounds a little meener.

Well that is good to know. The stock carb is rusted out so it need either a stock replacemnet or aftermarket. I was looking at this one from LRD http://lrdperformance.com/live/index.php?m...products_id=334 Any thoughts?
