Has anyone shaved their seats down. I know the Z and KFX could loose some seat. I w3as wondering how they did it and what they used for a seat cover. I got the idea from Quad Tech, But Im a cheap cheap bastard.

you could shave your seat and just restretch the stock seat cover..wouldnt be hard at all.. I've thought about it but never did

What do you think could cut it? Think there is any tricks to keeping it straight, Or is it just gonna be my crooked eye?

most people use something similar to a cheese grater to cut down foam. i have never done it just thought i would throw that out there

use a angle grinder..seen it done on fmx bikes..makes a mess though

Electric knife with opposite reciprocating blades

electric knife would work but i think would be reallly hard to keep straight on the seat. i'd use a grinder then a da sander and just where a mask
Cochise
Electric knifes are what upholstery shops use to shape foam.
i pimped ur quad
electric knife to rough it out. and then use a sander or grinder if u dont have a sander to smooth it out. try to make it have a hump like this one
