best thing you could do is invest in a carb. that is the biggest bang for the buck

hmmm lets see...since your new here i'm not gonna be rude back to you...but in fact I do know. Thats why I answered you. you asked if there is a similar mod to cutting a wire to raise the rev limit. Honestly if you want help around here you should not be rude. Camaro, eric, muddin and I are usually the first ones to reply when someone has a question. We are here beacuse we want to help. Now if you ask another question like whats some good bang for the buck mods you can do....you may get a longer answer....besides..I was at my sons tball game when i replied and thought a nope would suffice. Be nice. icon_biggrin.gif

Thank you eric for the tip.. I will look into that.

seriously if you are looking for real gains you will have to pay for them. i would strongly suggest that a carb be your first mod. whether its an edelbrock, FCR or one of the honda carbs... you will be impressed

I'm serious! I spend over 2,000 in full exhaust k&n,jet, full skid plate, wave rotor, braded brake lines, asv clutch & front brake levers, baja rims & brand new tires, nerf bars, DG grab bar & front bar etc... I love my quad and when I ask you guys for opinions is caz I'm willing to take it to the next level. I can ride my ass off but I ain't a mechanic, and don't know much on engine working and stuff. So if you can tell me where I can find a good carb for my bike I will appreciated. I'm gonna do my owen research but I will still like your opinion, for the fact that you guys know what you talking about. And I'm always willing to listen and learn.

I don't know how to do it. There's a dude that my bro in law took he's trx450 jetted at. He works on quads only. And I know the owner of east cost atv in PA. What you think?
