ok im stuck between buying one of these quads. ino this is suzuki form but i hope you guys could be nice and help me. i want an honist awnser not the ltz400 just caz its the ltz section.

is a honda 06 trx450r durable motor wize?
how about the 05 ltz400?

which would win in a race if both had a good pipe jetkit airfilter and airbox lid off?

which one has better suspention?

which one is easyer to maintain? motor wize and maintnece wize.

i plan on racing mx, but MOSLY trail ride but i need somthing fast for mx and durabule. im 17 and i have job but i only work once a week can cant aford constant repairs. i can afor maintness and ajust valves tho.

Dont you have another thread just like this? Dont as which would win a race..WAY too many factors. Winning a race SHOULD NOT be whats making your mind between the two. EX: A banshee will most always beat a z in a straight line, but would I ever want to own a banshee NO they suck for MX. Better suspension between your two they are basicly the same. The honda is going to be just as durable as the Z. Maintainence wise they are probably close to the same also..

If the choice between the two is for the same amount of money, then it's a no-brainer. The Honda is a year newer, and worth more. Maybe. If it's been thrashed, that's another story.

You need to give a better (full) description of both machines that you're considering. Mods to both, also. That's gonna tell people more - not enough info to really work with so far.

For your race question:

Piped, jetted, airfilter modded 400...
Piped, jetted, airfilter modded 450...

Which one do you think is going to win that race?...

Since ya say that ya plan to do at least a little bit of MXing...& IF ya can do w/o havin` reverse for your trail riding...then IMO I`d recommend that ya just go w/ the Honda...it`s a little bit more durable & it`s a 450 so you`d be startin` out on a more level playing field from the get go (as opposed to w/ the Z).
