I need to buy a new chain and was just wondering what you guys recommend for length with a 15t front and stock rear. I was gonna buy a did o-ring but would like some suggestions as well. Thanks.

you would still use the stock length chain. 96 links. DID and RK are the 2 best chains.

if you feel you need a bit more forward adjustment the holes for the pinch bolts can be elongated with a die grinder

That's a good tip, I didn't even think of that. I ended up ordering a primary drive x-ring chain shipped 2day for 62.00 bucks. This winter I will spend the money and get a nice chain with new sprockets too. Thanks for the tips guys.

Why didn't you just spend the extra 20 or 30 bucks and get 2 new sprockets now. Also, why would you get another chain this winter?

I just bought a house and got engaged so Im pretty broke. My 15t front is almost brand new and the rear isnt in bad shape, so to save some money I just got the chain. I am planning on going through the bike entirely this winter since I now have a garage to work on it.

i learned the hard way, i would get alll new sprockets to match the chain, i got stock size RK chain and sprockets for only like 115.

Im very pleased with my RK chain. I havent had to adjust it since Ive installed it about 6 months ago.

I ended up getting a almost brand new rear sprocket from a friend so all is well there.
