just purchased a 05 ltz250 for my girlfriend. and we removed the baffle out of the stock pipe and put a uni filter on it and im figuring its running pretty lean so i was wondering on what size jets i should buy to get it back right of if i should buy a jet kit or what?

depends on if you are removing the air lid or not. if you are keeping it on, you shouldnt have to go up much at all. maybe 2-4 jet sizes. you take the airlid off and it may be like 8-10 jet sizes. Btw, you wont see ANY gain out of a uni filter. It and the stock filter flow pretty much the same. Its just a lil better quality filter than stock and it is a two stage so it should catch more particles. if you buy a jet kit it will come with a different needle. Do i think you need a jet kit for such minor changes? no. you wanna wake it up take that lid off and its a good noticeable difference. make sure you jet it for the lid bein off. take the screen out of the intake tract too.

so maybe like a 135 main with the lid off?
