Whilst out riding today and ripping around a turn my tires got into the brush and wouldnt ya know it, someone decided to dump a HUGE piece of angle iron (like 3" wide and 1/2" thick!) with a GIGANTIC concrete base and my front tire caught it and then well, heres a pic...

I also dug my shoulder into the dirt TOUGH and slammed my head on the ground (THANK JEEBUS FOR SKID LIDS!)

Dont you hate when people do that

That happen to me years ago whenever a local builder decided to throw his leftover scraps in the woods where we ride. Cinder blocks, 2x4, drywall scraps. Needless to say we just ended up picking it up and putting it in front of the newly constructed home.

Hey man, your handlebars are crooked
I hit a big log the otherday where someone dumped a truckload. It wasn't there they day before so I didn't expect it to be there. Only popped my tire of the bead. Some a-hole dumped concrete chuncks on another trail and my dad nailed it with his Z and folder the front rim like a sandwich. Luckily he was ok and those Razr 2's are bulletproof.

That sucks, glad you made it out without serious injury. Did only the stem get broke/bent?

The stem is bent back, and to the side, and kind of twisted. My bars got bent and my hand guard mounts are Effed. I bought a stem from a member here and am going to get new bars/handguards here shortly. Also my tank cover has big gouges in it from the dash rubbing it as well as my one fender bracket was ripped, but zip-ties fixed that.
I wouldnt say I made it out without serious injury just yet, my shoulder is KILLING me, but I havent gone to the hospital yet, feels like I pinched a nerve.

Hmm, well its a good thing you got outta that...
Good thing nothin else on you broke, just the other weekend i was out at the track, and riding the dirtbike track, on my Z, kinda more technical, more jumpy, and there was this 70 foot finsh line triple i had done 3-4 times before, so the next time i went to it i didnt even hesistate, and here is what my friend said happened as i dont remember a thing, i got thrown sideways, went over the bars (all this is in 3rd pinned), when i landed it, still cleared lol, and then thrown around ran over by my own bike, then i got up... A night in the hospital and broken ribs, WAY messed up laft shoulder, and coughin up blood, 2 weeks later i am finally feelin better, but the AMAZING thing is that i only needa get a new clip for the tether on the Z it didnt even roll, which i am happy with lol...
Sorry for jackin your thread and goin so into my story
Maybe you should think about gettin some fat bars, and if you think your messed up go to the hospital, i thought it was nothin big for me turns out i got a numothorax, idk or understand what that is but it aint good... So dont wait till it gets worse just go

I just ordered my first set of fat bars, no shops around had high enough bars. I got everything, just waitin for the stem and bars now. I'll go to the hospital tonight, my shoulder is starting to get really really tight.
It all costed a little, well actually alot, more than I had originally anticipated but I can deal with being broke, I still lots of fuel in a can for the KFX and all the parts I need are in order. I had to reason with my dad why buying $70 bars was a good idea, I've watched numerous videos of guys who race wrecking and their quads go flinging into the air and the fat bars always survive.

Just wondering what brand bars did you buy? Believe it or not, but from past experience i think there is a good, better and best fat bar brand
