hey can any1 tell me what the stock leak jet size is on a stock fcr 39 ? my accl. pump timing is ok im not hittin the slide and my lenth of squirt is good within recomended seconds. i bought the carb off some1 on this site they had a nasty motor build on they're z i had to drop all the jet sizes WAY down . i got everything dialed in really good just cant get rid of this bog i have on bottom end its deff. not a lean issue im just gettin to much fuel. when the bikes hot/cold idleing or boggin in the woods and you try to crack the throttle quick it'll bog real bad or stall then pick up and run like it should ive got enough motor work for this carb so low rpm vacum shouldnt be doin this either its a real pain in the arse climbin hills that have no run at the bottom! lol any info or suggestions is greatly appreciated guys thanks, Bob

my linkage is external or under the plastic side case ---i went back on this site to the fcr help and every time i click on a hyper link to go, or look at something it just comes up error this link is broken or has been removed. i had the carb bowl off when i bought it to clean it and see what jets i was workin with and it does have a leak jet in the bowl and i'm pretty sure it was a 35 if thats the case it would restict more creating more bowl pressure and force more fuel out my nozzle into my cylinder . rite ??? i also read that on wide open throttle to set the accl. pump screw to where it just touches ? wouldnt you want this accl. pump active ? or is it too much hassle or was that just a starting point for reference ?
do aftermaket diaphrams have coding or diff. colors so i can see if mine is stock or aftermarket ?

and do you guys know where i can see some pics of these tie-back mods for the accl. pump ?

i really app. all the help thanks a bunch

1- its because the links say: z400central.com/..... Change the link to say suzuki.theatvchannel.com/..... and it will work
2- guessing u have a honda carb, does it look like this? minus the boyeson cover and the fuel screw
3- yes your right about the leak jet. a smaller jet, is a smaller hole, which forces more fuel through the accelerator pump to give you a bigger shot.
4- the linkage is just a starting point, but usually is just fine. thats how i set mine and it works perfectly. I think I set mine at idle stop though, but I really can't remember. wiring linkage and other info
5- aftermarket covers will look like the boyeson (pics above) or have an adjustable knob on them. I know theres a generic one on ebay but I'm not sure of the differences in that.

hey camaro thanks a bunch for the help. the link to ebay you sent thats the same carb i'm workin with. and on the z link o2bfst has a youtube link of what his bike is doin with his fcr and thats the same thing mines doin to. the pics worked with the o-ring mod i'm tearin my z apart this weekend to replace my radiator and i'm gonna mess with my carb some more and tie- up my linkage do you think i should double check my leak jet and throw a stock 50 in there if its not ? for the accl.pump mine must be stock then, i just thought the diaphrams were replacable also, i read on thumper talk about rivit lenth determining lenth of throw thats why i was askin if it was possible just to change the diaphram itself without going with a quick shot or somethig else like that .

yeah you can buy a new diaphragm if you wanted to. It should be easy to tell if it was ground down just if theres any tool marks on it. The 35 might be a little small for your motor, but it will be better to leave it in then put in the stock 50
