What went wrong when you tried it?
Seems like its a simple task to bore them out?

get a set of calipers (not brake calipers) and measure the ball joint where it goes in the hole. make your hole slightly bigger. you can also get a used set of knuckles off ebay pretty cheap. i thought i saw some the other day.

yea... i feel kind of dumb right now... I SLIGHTLY forgot my bro has a 2004 z400... so ill just measer his and go according... if for some reason it doesnt work I know I can either buy ball joints or just have 2 different sizes of spindals...
wouldn't I need to buy specific knuckles for them to fit the "JD performace" a arms
