hey i heard from my friend that works at the water district that recently someone found out that the "bush" their trying to save in glamis was planted their and is not native to the area. so im just wondering if this is correct. and if so then im pretty sure the old areas will b opened back up :D which is bomb. but also their other "endangered thing" is a lizard. WHAT! and its supposed to b under the sand most of the time? idk i hope this is real and someone actually got through to who they needed to

I'm 99% sure that the dreaded milkvetch plant is alot more native to the dunes then we are.
Maybe someday we will get the recently closed area back but you will NEVER get to ride on the other side of the highway!

no i know...my dad says that that side has been closed since he was a kid but the new areas, someone did a research and found that its not native at all to this area. and the suspision is that who ever found it planted it their angryfire.gif , otherwise how would they all of a sudden know that their was a endangared plant their. my friend said that he heard it over the news and has ordered a federal investigation in it. but on the other hand...the cali gov said their raising state park entrance fees shocker.gif bawling.gif .....does this include glamis? it is a state park from wat i understand?

don't know about the origins of that plant but I am pretty sure that the closures to the south were temporary and when it came time to re-open the greenies came up with something else..........very tough fight. It's still a huge riding area compared to most.
We need to hold on to what we've got at this point. The ASA is always working for us and everyone that dunes should join.

ya but it would b so much nicer not being restricted by some up tight ppl that just want to stop ppl from enjoying life.
