Well I would love to buy my son a real one but this will have to do untill the next one. Everyone knows from my truck post I love decals. Bought it at WalMart and decided not to use the stickers that come with it because they wear away and fall off. I went sniping on ebay and bought a handfull of decals that would last as long as the toy itself. Plastered it up and pinstriped the wheels and hood. Put a siren on there too. The number plates I had made up were suppossed to be black and white to match the fox heads but the idiot lady at the shop w00tered them up so I had to scrap the black. Figures they're closed on weekends. I will either run some black pinstripe around it or take them off and get some more somewhere else today. I need to get the rubber strips for the tires so they don't spin as much. Birthday is sunday so its good for now.

That is very cool. I remember my son's first quad 14 years ago.

thats just awesome. he is going to love it. that just makes me even more excited for my daughter to grow up so she can start riding. i can wait though. i already miss her being a tiny little baby and she is only 8 months old now. im going to enjoy it while i can. it seems like it was just yesterday she was born. i saw at walmart they had these little kawi quads that they sit on and push with their feet. im going to get her one when she is big enough.

I have that green kawi push one in a 6volt electric style, maybe 1/2 mph. He still rides it but he is too big for it. My daughter just turned 3 months and it's in her closet waiting for her. He freaked every time we tried to put it away.
Well I called and left a message with the lady at the one shop and complained and asked for a refund. If I don't get it back, that is a 5 star feedback section on yellowpages.com I will let her know about. Found a nice guy that has his own business he runs out of his garage, really nice shop, made me a new set of number plates and I stayed with him while he did it. He did everything by hand, awesome job!

Party was a hit, he loves it and has rode it everyday so far. Lady at the shop gave me my money back and blamed it on the guy that wasn't there.

if you can put some sort of rubber pads or something on the tires its will perform a lot better. i glued some rubber onto my cousins powerwheels dogdge viper and it made a big diffrence

I have 2 different kinds of rubber mats. I was going to use liquid nails, would it hold?

drill a few holes every here and there to give it something to grab onto.

My son's was 12 volt too. I studded it with screws just like ice tires. Works great but no longer house-broke!

I cut some rubber and the liquid nails didn't hold long. After one ride it was coming off. I didn't think of drilling holes. I was maybe thinking of spraying rubberized undercoating just on the raised tread? I think I'm going to try the rubber again but possibly put a screw every couple of inches.
