I am looking into getting a set of long travel a arms and front shocks. I was wondering if any long travel shocks for other quads would fit on the z400 with long travel a arms? For example: Would a set of 400ex shocks fit on my Z? Is there a length that I should be looking at for fitment like 19.25 inches for +3 a arms? Is there a difference in the size of the hole in the bracket where they mount up?

I have heard of people using LTR 450 shocks. What mods do you have to do to get this to work? What a arms do you use with them?

I believe 450r LT shocks will work as I have seen a few people put fox float evols from a 450r on there Z.

HOndas, and maybe LTRs?

I'm running 450r Lt elite elkas.

First thing you need to check is that they will actually physically bolt on. If you search and find out that xxx stock shocks fit a Z then the aftermarket ones will too.

Second you need to call the place that made your a-arms and see what length shocks they take. Not all LT arms take the same length lt shock

There is not a sticky thread in the suspension part about the shocks to see if they will physically bolt :P

That's why there is a search bar Mitch.
