so yeah, im a little under the influence and i thought i would make a little post on here for no reason really..but to just show you guys what ive been up to.....yeah just about nothing lol besides working on the quad and the beastly GTI.....well here we go on with the pictures...
1996 GTI VR6, with a fully built motor & trans.
bored out from a 2.8 to a 3.0liter,low comp. 8.5.1cr forged JE pistons running a high comp head gasket to bump it back up to stock compression and rods, with a ported and polished EIP tuning big valve head, oversized stainless intake and exhaust valves...dual stage springs, autotech 268 degree camshafts. and on top its got gasket matched/back yard port and polish on the intake manifold,
ohh and a race header, with 2,1/2 inch straight pipe exhaust with a borla race muffler...hmmm sounds soo good. and a little k&n drop in filter with a gutted air box
in the trans its got a pelequin LSD,stg 2 eip clutch and flywheel , 3.5 RNP, and a euro TDI final drive sooo this thing HAULS on the highway..







kinda the style im going for...KINDA just not black rims and not as dark tint...and a shot of the motor when it wasint in the gti

if you search for "gregs rebuild" you will see everything that is done...it just got done a few months ago, i love the sound of the shorty yosh..its a little loud but hey its a quad its not suppose to be quiet. Its funny cus everyone that knows me and my toys tells me "everything you have is loud and fast" (car, quad etc etc). thanks for all the positive comments i really love both and worked my A$$ off to build them

jus wondering...not meaning anything wrong by this...but you built a low compression engine in your vw because....? are you going to boost it? because if your not, why would you build a vw? are they fast on motor or something? i understand the wanting to be different thing, cause i'm like that to...but in my eyes you could take that money you spent on that and ran it through a paper shredder and ended up with the same result. now if your boosting it, i'll shut up now and you can just ignore this post......and again, dont mean any offense...jus wonderin..

yeah im boosting it, just havint gotten all the parts together...its gonna be based off a garret 35R turbo, with 034 motorsports stand alone fuel management...and you would be suprised how hard it pulls being low comp pistons with a high comp head gasket. its only 1. lower then stock,...but it still pulls mid 13 quarter miles....surprised the hell out of me thats for sure lol but yeah i here you on the whole not understanding thing...i shoulda added that in

well heck, thas gonna be a helluva sleeper then....my bad..and if it runs mid 13's on motor thats rollin...
